Muzzle Break BLOG

When I first stared writing about guns for money, I met Ron Spomer. We were on an axis deer hunt in Texas. A fan of Ron’s work, I took every opportunity to pick his brain about writing, photography, shooting and hunting. Then and ever since, Ron – and several other successful hunters and writers – have always had time for me. Their tutelage convinced me  my job was to do the same; share knowledge and entertain readers.

I’m nothing short of honored to be partnering with North American Hunting Club and Ron Spomer on the Muzzle Break BLOG. Every week Ron and I will tag team readers with information that will hopefully entertain and educate. Ron will focus on hunting related topics and I’ll primary deal with guns for fun and personal protection. You can call my side of the equation “tactical” if you like but I would prefer to look at it as “practical.” You might say I’ll be giving advice on the adroit application of firearms. Since I am a hunter at heart, I’ll have to step on Ron’s toes now and then.

Each week check out the Muzzle Break BLOG and tell me what I can do to help you better enjoy your guns. As always, questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.
