Just a Dad bragging about his boy

Today at awards day Bat Mann received the award for the most improved 6th grader at Pikeview Middle School. Yep, I’m bragging!

You guess it was all that time we spent in the woods hunting, time on the range shooting, all those chores I made him do? You know, the life lessons that build character and such. Could it have been the sidebar he writes for the Young Guns column in Rifle Firepower magazine? Surely not, can those things be good for a kid’s education?

Or maybe it’s that he takes after his mom?

Nah, we can’t take the credit. I’m pretty sure he just did it all on his own. Just like he said he would.

Way to go Bat Mann!

NOTE: Readers are encouraged to brag about their kids in the comments and I’ll gladly post photos upon request. When kids excel we need to brag.
