Killing Snakes

Once again CCI shot shells have shown their potency on snakes. If you are going to knock around in snake country, best shove some of these in your pistol. I’ve known the 45 Auto loads work well for some time. Looks like the 38 Specials will do the trick too.

I’ve used the .38 special CCI snakeshot on dozens of occasions and it has always performed well. I tried to use the .22LR snakeshot twice, and all it did was piss ’em off — I had to complete the job with hollow points.

I tested all the CCI shot shells sometime back for an article. On paper all but the rimfire loads looked good. Could not find enough slithery volunteers to verify lethality but a potato works pretty good.
