Zombies – Seriously, Zombies!

Gunwriter Patrick Sweeney has made a case for eight firearms to face the zombie apocalypse. I know Patrick knows his way around guns but, like me, he’s too old to be completely tuned to this Zombie thing. Vampires and werewolves are probably more our speed.

So, I asked my son, Bat,  who is – shall we say – up on this kind of thing and he gave me his eight picks and why (SEE BELOW)

You tell me, who is right?

1. SPAS 12 – No need to explain this one.

2. FNFAL – Firepower.

3. S&W Mod. 29 – Come on, make a Zombie’s day.

4. FN Five-Seven – Pull the trigger and just keep pulling.

5. 1911 .45 Auto – Um, its worked on every other kind of enemy we’ve seen.

6. AR 15 – Yeah, that’s obvious.

7. Remington MSR – For those long range head shots.

8. Colt Peacemaker – Just for fun!

You have to read ‘World War Z’ it’s all about headshots.

Well, over at the G&A list, I suggested the Ruger 10/22 . Basically inspired by World War Z.

  3. Bob M. says:

I would add a browning 1919 machine gun and a Thompson sub machine gun to the list, then we’re ready for the apocalypse!

  4. NickS says:

Gotta have .22 in there. Good luck on finding ammo for the FN57. Go with a 10/22 instead.

  5. Jim Dodd says:

I always thought zombie threads on the Gunsite List were code for when the “diversity people” riot and come to your neighborhood… <—humor
