Galco Safari Ching Sling

Some of you may have heard about this SLING and been wondering how it is used. In this video, Gunsite instructor Il Ling New demonstrates the SLING and how it can be used with intermediate shooting positions. I worked with this sling for four days at Gunsite and I can tell you for sure, it will be on my hunting rifle this fall. Considering it helped me get a first round hit on a big horn sheep target at 325 yards from the seated position – Why wouldn’t I?

Eric Ching was a clever gent indeed, and his Safari Ching Sling works both shooting and carrying. I have his prototype sling and I used it in Zimbabwe on a leopard and Cape buff hunt. This is a photo of the sling, me and the 44″ buff I was grinning over. Il Ling is a great teacher too…jim
