This Just In…

Diamondback is offering .32 NAA conversion barrels for their DB380. I have one on the way and will let you know how it works out.

I’ve tested this cartridge before in a NAA handgun and it is a screamer. Penetration is a bit less than most .380 ACP loads but tissue damage is intensified.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why more compact 380 manufacturers don’t offer the .32NAA as a caliber. Imagine it in a hi-cap double stacker! It’s effectiveness is closer to the 9mm than the 380, and out of a 4″ barrel, it would scream along at 1350 fps at least, maybe 1400. @ 1400, that’s 261 #/ft ME from that little JHP, or almost 30% more than 95-gr ball in 380 out of the same length barrel. The other offering in .32NAA, 72-gr ball, would probably give a similar number as it’s somewhat slower, but it would have better penetration.
