Swamp People – DIAMONDBACK Style

These 7 gators were taken using Diamondback AirBoats– the largest airboat manufacturer in the world – (prices start at $ 35,000) and Diamondback 380 and 9mm handguns (Much more affordable at less than $ 400.00)  . We were just a tad bit better equipped than those folks off the Swap People TV show. (We might not look the part but we played it well thanks to the experience of HoHo and Shane Brooks who have been in gators their entire life.)

I covered most of this in my last POST but what I did not tell you is that for me, gator hunting turned out to be one of the most exciting things I have done with a gun. Its one of the few hunts where you can effectively use a sub-compact handgun with success and you just never know what is going to come up out of the water and often when it does come up, its less than three feet away and its time to shoot. And, you better shoot straight and your gun better work!

Be afraid...Be very afraid.
