RACK 1 Field Test – Part 3

On December 15th I filled the feeder up with a mix of RACK 1 Overload and corn. The cold taxed my battery and it gave out on the 23rd. I replaced the battery today and checked the camera. I had been getting 50-60 photos over a two-week period with corn. The camera had 332 photos. Granted, about half were pictures of turkey but that is still a 200% increase in deer activity. I assume this is partially due to the snow, but still…

Unlike before with just corn, deer were at the feeder everyday eating the RACK 1 Overload.

Turkey seem to like it too.

I’d hoped the cold, snow and addition of the Overload mix might have drawn in a buck but no such luck as of yet. However, it looks like I still have about a week and a half left of feed in the hopper.  I’ll keep you posted.
