Cool Targets

Richard Mann designed True Blue Target

Dead Center Target

Iron Man Target

Zombie Target

I’ve been working with Rick Thompson of Thompson Target for many years. We worked together to design the True Blue Target; a target that is easy to see in any light, easy to see bullet holes in and sized so you easily estimate group size.

Its not the only cool target Thompson makes. Their Dead Center and Iron Man targets are the best I’ve found when working with open sights and their new radically wicked Zombie Targets are fun to shoot and add that little bit of novelty to the range.

One Response to Cool Targets

About the only target I use these days is a 3″ x 3″ sheet of white paper with 4 rows and 4 columns of backwards Ls drawn with a black marker. I can sight in multiple guns, test loads, test scopes, etc. with out having to get up and walk down range to change targets all the time. The bottom point of the L gives a fine aim point for guns with scopes. I get a kick out of guys setting up 12″ square targets with black bullseyes then they can’t see where their shots hit from 100 yards so they are constantly walking down range to check it out.
