Found this over at Gun Pundit.

Who makes this stuff?

Pretty cool but, I think the cartridge / chess piece selection is a bit off. Here is my take compared to theirs:

PIECE                   THEM                                    ME

Pawn:                     9mm                                      .22 LR or .223 Rem

Rook:                      50 AE                                    45-70

Knight:                    454 Casull                            30-30

Bishop:                    7.62 x 39                              223 Rem. or .308 Win.

Queen:                     45-70                                    270 Win.

King:                         30-06                                   375 H&H

Why did I leave out the .30-06? That’s a long story you can read in my contribution to the new book from Sisk Rifles titled: Selecting and Ordering a Custom Hunting Rifle.

Maybe they need a military, hunting and handgun version. Regardless, at $ 58.00 its not a bad idea for a Christmas gift for a true Rifle Loony.
